Consignment cycles schedule

Boutique Galleries is changing back to its traditional 4 cycles per year and they will be announced on the homepage and through mass email as they are planned.

Generally, they will be as follows:
December-February
March-May
June-August
September-November

PAY Dates
There will be 4 payout cycles per year. Payout will not take place until AFTER the cycle has completed, sales are reconciled, and data uploaded online, at which time checks will be mailed to the street address we have on file for you when you registered. Please allow 2 weeks for this process.

Boutique Galleries will pay consignors 50% of sales sold during the entire cycle, and 20% of rentals, but payout will not take place until AFTER the cycle has completed, sales are reconciled, and data uploaded online. Again, AFTER the cycle ends, checks will be mailed to the street address we have on file for you when you registered. Please allow 2 weeks for this process.

Registration
Once registration opens for a particular consignment cycle, you may consign anytime during that cycle until registration closes to reconcile records and set up the next cycle. It would however be to your advantage to consign as close to the beginning of the cycle as possible to have the best opportunity for shoppers to purchase your items. Any item that is consigned and brought in before the deadline can be included in the consignment cycle until the date that registration is no longer accepted for that cycle.

Registration Fee
We charge a nominal fee of per cycle to consign with us. This fee offsets the cost of operation in handling your merchandise and paperwork, the software needed to tag and scan your items, extra workers to handle your items, etc. It is deducted from your sales, so if nothing sales there will be no fee to pay unless you pick items up early. You may consign for one cycle or every cycle, but the fee is due per each consignment cycle if item sales. The fee will be announced on the seller agreement per each cycle.

Item Drop Off
Drop items off during normal business hours or other times by appointment

Item Pick Up after the consignment cycle has ended
When the consignment cycle ends, there will be a 2-week grace period to pick up your unsold items during normal business hours. Any items not picked up or re-entered into the next cycle are subject to become property of Boutique Galleries and subject to immediate donation. This is to ensure that the store remains fresh and inviting and not cluttered.

Fee for Early Pick Up of Consigned Items
Items picked up early during your consignment cycle for which you have registered will be charged the registration fee or 3% of the original consigned price, whichever is higher. This fee is designed to offset the charge of handling your item and is charged for early pick up in lieu of a prepaid fee when registering for consignment. All fees must be paid before you will be allowed to pick your items up.
